I learned about Maat last quarter in my AfroAm studies class about Malcolm X. Maat was an Egyptian goddess of truth and justice, whose symbol was an ostrich feather. She regulated the stars and seasons, the mortals and deities; she set the order of the Universe out of chaos at the moment of creation. Her male energetic and ideological counterpart was Isfet, meaning injustice and chaos.

These are coming in the mail...

My Barton Perreira "Neville"(s). I am so excited. I tried them on in an optical boutique in Santa Monica months and months and months ago and haven't been able to stop thinking about them. So into my clutches they will be, soon.......
